Lead Description
For shipping construction cranes and other heavy (earthmoving) equipment out of China to the Rest of the World we are examining the possibilities of establishing a Shipping Agency in China.
Therefore we are looking for a partner in China who can live up to the following requirements:
- Perfect knowledge of the Chinese and English language. We prefer that our contact has the Chinese nationality.
- Comprehensive experience in large shipments of heavy equipment and cranes. In this business heavy claims are common, experience is extremely important.
- Very well established contacts with shipping companies who are active in China. Our contact must be able to gather pricing and shipping options without using other shipping agencies.
- Familiar with shipping related documentation (B/L's, Packing Lists and Certificates of Origination etc.)
- Completely reliable.
- Perfect commercial skills - understanding of the requirements of our customers.
Quick feed back is often required in order to keep customers in.
In order to be clear and prevent extra work for everybody, hereby I would like to describe what we are not looking for:
- Non-Chinese advisors eager to be involved in a field which is unknown to them.
- Enthusiastic people who are willing to learn, but dont have sufficient experience.
- People who only know shipping agencies and would like to work via them. We want to establish a shipping agency ourselves - an extra layer in the chain will make business more difficult and margins lower.
